                  AAC YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP

          NOW BEING OFFERED TO THE PARTICIPANTS

                    IN THE ALL AMERICAN CUP

A $2500 Scholarship is being funded by Jim Aikman and Oz Mutz.  It will be known as "The ALL AMERICAN CUP YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP".  Both Mutz and Aikman have been the closest of friends and supporters of the American Saddlebred for over 65 years, and they are vitally interested in our youth of today.   They hope this scholarship will contribute to increased interest in Saddlebreds by college age young people.  

Complete details of the AAC YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP will be announced at a later date.  At this time, however, the following applies.

Those eligible are:

A. Any STALLION SERVICE DONOR who has donated a Stallion Service to AAC AUCTION in 2007 and subsequently has DECLARED a mare in foal to that stallion by January 16,2008 for the 2008 thru 2011 competitions.

Also, to be eligible, the STALLION DONOR who enrolls their stallions in this years 2008 ALL AMERICAN CUP AUCTION and who makes their mare DECLARATION  in 2009, will be eligible to the Scholarship drawing in 2009. 

B. Any STALLION SERVICE BUYER who has purchased a service at the AAC AUCTION in 2007.

Aikman and Mutz plan to continue the AAC Youth Scholarship earch year.

The recipient of the AAC YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP will be determined and announced after the AAC AUCTION on Saturday night, January 19, 2008 at Claudia Sanders Restaurant, Shelbyville, Ky.

To be eligible, stallion owners should enroll their stallion in the AAC AUCTION now.  Or, you may email your bid NOW on any stallion in America of your choosing.

The AAC STAFF will keep you advised of your bid position until the auction and will also phone bidders the night of the auction.

Kalarama Farm - Harlem Globetrotter Perpetual Trophy

To be awarded to the Champion ALL AMERICAN CUP THREE YEAR OLD

The participants in this class will be awarded over $150,000, the most ever given in the history of the American Saddlebred Show Horse Industry.   Winner will receive over $50,000.
